What Think Ye of Christ?

If you have never placed your faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, the issue is stated very clearly:

“He who believes in the Son [Jesus Christ] has eternal life; but he who does not obey [the command to believe in] the Son shall not see life [eternal life with God], but the wrath [divine justice] of God abides on him.” (John 3:36)

“For God [the Father] so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten [uniquely born] Son, that whoever believes in Him [the Son] should not perish [spend eternity in the lake of fire], but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

If you have not yet made this fateful decision to obey the Son of God in belief, the time is now. All you must think in the privacy of your soul is: “God the Father; I believe in your Son, Jesus Christ.” In that moment you have eternal life.

Things Into Which Angels Long To Look . . .

Bible doctrine, teaching drawn from the literal, historical, and grammatically correct interpretation of the Scriptures, is the standard for spiritual truth. God commands the Christian to be inwardly transformed by the daily renewing of the mind through learning and applying the Word of God (2 Corinthians 4:16; Ephesians 4:23). This is spiritual nourishment. As you begin this Bible study, you should consider a vital governing principle concerning the Word of God.

“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship [Him] in [the filling of the] spirit and [in biblical] truth.” (John 4:24)

If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only possible way to worship God is in a state of fellowship with God the Father. 1 John 1:9 states: If we confess [name or cite as in a court case] our [known] sins, He [God the Father] is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins [the sins we have named] and to cleanse [purify] us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins].

Filled by means of God the Holy Spirit, your Mentor and Teacher, you are free from the bondage of your sin nature, able to understand and metabolize Bible doctrine.
